Hypoallergenic: Our bentonite clay is free of herbs, spices, excipients or fillers that can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.
Cosmetic and spa use: Our clay is guaranteed to be free of bacteria, viruses, molds and yeast, No other bathing clay on the market makes this claim. This is very important if you are sensitive to moulds or yeast, or have a weakened immune system.
Disperses Easily in Water Unlike most bentonite clays, EBN Bentonite Clay disperses easily in water, with virtually no clumping. This is highly desirable, since there is little mixing required and the clay does not adhere to the skin the same way other bathing clays do.
Easy Clean-Up Unlike other bathing clays, this clay can be safely rinsed down the drain. No special cleaning ir clay dissolving agents required.
High CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity) EBN Bentonite Clay has the greatest "pulling action" for drawing toxins out through the pores of the skin of any clay tested. Beware of inferior Calcium Bentonite clays which have lower CEC values which equals reduced pulling power.
Simply put, we supply the best bentonite clay available for bathing in.
Please be aware of the many substandard clays being sold cheaply.
Bentonite clay: what is bentonite clay?
It is a 100% natural clay that is named after its place of discovery, Fort Benton, Wyoming.
Bentonite clay, also known as healing clay is found throughout the world, but the largest deposits are to be found in the Great Plains area of North America and is formed from the weathering of volcanic ash in the presence of water.
100% Pharmaceutical grade sodium bentonite clay: Bentonite clay that is manufactured specifically for the health and beauty market by the longest established and most knowledgeable source in the industry.
What makes bentonite clay so special?
This is no ordinary healing clay, it has exceptional medicinal healing properties and has been used for centuries by native tribes around the world.
In recent times it has been increasingly used by alternative health practitioners to prevent and alleviate various health problems. This is done through a process of detoxification.
Why is it so important to use pharmaceutical grade bentonite clay?
You wouldn't want to bath in clay that contained high levels of heavy metals and other radioactive properties, especially when you are trying to remove heavy metals and toxins from your body!
Why is it so important to use a hypoallergenic bentonite clay?
You need a clay that is free of any herbs, spices, excipients or fillers as these can cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. This natural clay draws out all toxic metals and chemicals, special formulas are not needed and can be an allergic risk to some users.
What happens in a bentonite clay bath?
When bentonite clay powder comes into contact with water it swells absorbing several times its dry mass in water. In doing so a suspension is created with a highly negatively charged ionic surface area.it creates a very high negative ionic surface charge area.
This negative charge attracts all 'positively charged' particles, environmental toxins including heavy metals (mercury, lead, aluminium etc.), pesticides, insecticides, food additives, nicotine are all positively charged toxins.
EBN bentonite clay (or healing clay) had the highest cation exchange capacity (pulling power) of any clay it was tested against and the only one available that can be rinsed down the drain. It is also the only pharmaceutical grade bentonite bath clay available.
Guidelines for bathing
- If you are suffering from chronic degenerative conditions, the best way to start detoxifying using the bentonite clay is with 1-2 scoops in a foot bath for 15 minutes, do this every week slowly increasing the length of time in the water and frequency of the foot baths.
- For minor ailments such as pain, fatigue or general malaise; use 1.5-4 scoops of healing clay in the bathtub, stay in the tub for 15 to 20 minutes.
- It is best to drink an electrolyte drink after your bath as the clay will also remove electrolytes through the skin.
