Why did you develop Total Balance Women’s when you have Total Balance Women’s Premium?
Our standard Total Balance products such as Total Balance Women’s were developed to cater primarily for new customers who were not ready or convinced enough on the value and benefits of the Premium versions to invest the extra money needed each month. It provides a good entry point for these customers, the majority of whom upgrade to the Premium version after they start feeling the benefits.
What is the difference between Total Balance Women’s and Total Balance Women’s Premium?
It is a ‘scaled down’ version of the Premium product. However, it still contains ALL the vitamins and minerals in the same high-quality form as the Premium version, PLUS, all the same female-specific nutrients. The difference is that the Standard version does not have either the same quantity or number of the anti-aging specialty nutrients. However, it is still a quantum leap above a normal multi-vitamin/mineral supplement and still gives real benefits not available in any other supplement at similar pricing.
What is the recommended dosage for Total Balance Women’s?
The daily dose is four tablets a day. This can be split into two doses a day but it is still OK to take the full dose at one time which is more convenient. It can be taken with or without food. As the tablets are enteric coated there is no risk of an upset stomach.
What is the function of the enteric coating on the Total Balance tablets?
The enteric coating on the Total Balance tablets protects some of the sensitive ingredients, such as SAMe, from being destroyed by the stomach acid. The enteric coating ensures the tablets do not begin dissolving until they enter the small intestine, where the best possible absorption can occur.
Will Total Balance Women’s help to lessen my menopausal/PMS symptoms?
Total Balance Women’s contains a comprehensive female hormonal support blend including ingredients such as Dong Quai, Red Clover Extract and Wild Yam which may help to address the symptoms experienced during menopause and also assist those women suffering from PMS. These ingredients help regulate hormone levels to minimize hot flushes, insomnia, headaches and mood changes.
Will Total Balance Women’s interfere with prescription medications?
As with all supplements, caution must be taken if you are on medications of any sort. Total Balance Women’s contains ingredients like Gingko Biloba, which help thin the blood, so if you are on blood thinning medication this has to be taken into account. It contains a small amount of Vitamin K which may affect blood clotting as well. If you are taking Coumadin / Warfarin please advise your doctor in case your medication needs to be adjusted.
No matter the medication, we always suggest checking with your doctor before beginning the product. Generally, there is no problem, but it is good to be sure.
Very rarely is there an issue although it is always a good idea to allow a 2 – 3 hour gap between taking your supplements and the medication.
